• From a sample collection or lab test. Biomarker results from blood or other samples you authorize us to collect, and limited health/lifestyle context relevant to interpreting them.
• Automatically. Device and browser information, approximate IP-based location, referrer URL, and basic usage analytics (pages visited, time on page).

2. How we use your information

• To provide the Services — running the quiz, scheduling sample collection, returning results, and delivering your personalized protocol.
• To process payments and send order confirmations and receipts.
• To communicate with you about bookings, results, and service updates.
• To improve and secure the Services, including fraud prevention and debugging.
• To comply with legal obligations applicable to us in India.

3. When we share information

We share limited information only with:

• Accredited labs and sample collection partners, to run your test and return your results.
• Payment processors (e.g. Razorpay), to securely accept your payment.
• Service providers who help us operate (cloud hosting, messaging, analytics) under confidentiality obligations.
• Clinicians you explicitly consent to share with, for example when we route your report through a partnered dermatologist.
• Authorities, if required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Health and sensitive data

Skin, biomarker, and related health data are sensitive personal data. We process this data based on your consent, apply reasonable security safeguards, and restrict internal access to staff and clinicians with a need to know.

5. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong account password and notify us immediately of suspected unauthorized access.

6. Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion as described below; some records (e.g. billing) may be retained to meet tax or regulatory requirements.
